Studio Policies

At Pieces & Pages, every quilt, class, and creative experience is thoughtfully planned and carefully executed. The following policies help ensure clarity, respect for everyone’s time, and a smooth experience from start to finish.

Custom Quilts

Design & Materials

All custom quilts are designed using new, high-quality fabrics. Pieces & Pages does not offer t-shirt quilts or quilts made from clothing.

Consultations

Custom quilts begin with a consultation to discuss design direction, size, fabric preferences, and timeline. Consultations may be held in person or virtually.

Pricing & Payment

Pricing is determined based on size, complexity, and materials. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on the production schedule. The remaining balance is due prior to delivery.

Timelines

Each quilt is made to order. Estimated timelines will be provided during the consultation and may vary based on current workload and design complexity. We appreciate your patience. Quality craftsmanship takes time.

Changes

Design changes must be requested before production begins. Once sewing or quilting has started, changes may not be possible.

Longarm Quilting & Finishing Services

Project Readiness

Quilt tops must be pressed, squared, and free of loose threads before drop-off or shipment. Additional prep work may incur an added fee.

Turnaround Time

Turnaround times vary and will be communicated at the time of booking. Rush services may be available upon request, subject to availability and additional fees.

Care

While every project is handled with care, Pieces & Pages is not responsible for fabric flaws, dye bleeding, or issues caused by materials provided by the client.

Classes & Workshops

Registration

Advance registration is required for all classes and workshops. Space is intentionally limited to keep the experience hands-on and welcoming.

Cancellations & Refunds

Class registrations are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another person with advance notice.

Skill Levels

Classes are labeled by skill level. Please review descriptions carefully to ensure the class is the right fit for you.

Studio Visits & Studio Time

Pieces & Pages operates from a private, in-home creative studio in DeLand, Florida. To maintain a fun, creative environment, all visits are by appointment only or scheduled studio time.

Cancellations

Studio visits and scheduled studio time require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellation or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may not be eligible for a refund or credit.

Minimum Attendance

Studio time and select workshops require a minimum of two participants to run. If the minimum is not met, the session will be cancelled, and registered guests will be notified at least 12 hours in advance. Any payments made will be refunded or credited toward a future session.

Arrival & Access

For privacy and scheduling purposes, the studio address is shared once your appointment or studio time is confirmed. Unscheduled drop-ins are not available.

Shipping & Pickup

Local pickup in Deland, Florida, may be arranged by appointment. Shipping is available within the U.S. Shipping costs are the client's responsibility and will be quoted in advance.

Communication

We do our best to respond to all inquiries within 2-3 business days. During busy seasons or active class weeks, response times may vary slightly.

Care & Use

Quilts are made to be used and loved. Care instructions will be provided with each finished piece. Pieces &. Pages is not responsible for damage resulting from improper care.
