The Making of a Modern Heirloom

You’ll meet with Kendra, either in person at our DeLand studio or virtually, to share your ideas, color palette, and aesthetic direction. She’ll help you articulate the mood and meaning behind your quilt, blending your inspiration, with her expertise, in pattern and design.

Kendra develops a custom design plan includes fabric selections, layout options, and finishing details. This stage is collaborative and creative, focused on creating a piece that’s both deeply personal and visually elevated.

Your design is brought to life in our DeLand studio using professional-grade materials and precise longarm quilting techniques. Each step reflects Kendra’s commitment to balance, texture, and craftsmanship: the marks of a true modern heirloom.

Once complete, your quilt is pressed, labeled, and beautifully packaged for pickup in DeLand or secure nationwide shipping. What you receive is more than a quilt, it’s a reflection of care, artistry, and intention, meant to be cherished for decades.

Pieces & Pages works from a private in-home creative studio in DeLand, Florida, an inviting space designed for calm focus, meaningful conversation, and beautifully crafted quilts. From custom heirlooms to longarm finishing and hands-on workshops, we proudly serve clients throughout Volusia County and the surrounding Central Florida community. Studio visits are offered by appointment once your consultation is confirmed.
